Sunshine Teddywidders will keep parents inform on consistent basis. We will communicate with parents in terms of where and when to pick up. It is usually between 8 weeks and 10 weeks of age unless they are training to be therapy bunnies. If the bunnies are going with transport companies, we will send them with the transport companies and will exposed them to moving vehicle as much as we can.

Sunshine Teddywidders will no longer be responsible for the bunnies as soon as the bunnies leave our properties. We are not responsible if the bunnies get sick or died during transport. That is the conversation for the parents and transport companies.

Sunshine Teddywidders will work with transport companies. However, parents need to find their own transport companies. There is a $50 charge to meetup with the transport companies since they are the one who set the meetup place. The fees for transport companies usually ranges between $100 and $200.

If you decide to pick the bunnies up and fly with the bunnies, Frontier and Spirit Airlines are the only airlines that allow bunnies in the cabin. Please pay attention to the size of the carrier. There is very limited space under the chair. Sunshine Teddywidders can meet with parents with additional charges, which mostly cover our parking costs,  at Oakland airport ($30 ), San Francisco airport ($100), and Sacramento airport ($30). Sunshine Teddywidders can advise parents on how to fly with your bunny and the steps you need to take.

You can also do a flight nanny, which is the most expensive option.

The bunnies will go home with a bag of pellet food. We mixed our own food to meet our needs as a breeder. Parents will need to adjust the bunnies to the brand of their choosing. We will provide instruction on how to adjust the feed.

Sunshine Teddywidders will hold your bunnies for 24 hours after the agreed pick up time. If no communication is received within 24 hours, we will release the bunnies to the next parents waiting. There will be NO REFUND given!

This is a very exciting part of the process! We are sad to see our babies leave but happy for the parents and babies since we know they will have awesome lives with their families.
