General FAQs

1. What are the prices to adopt a bunny?

The adoption fees range from $350 to $850.

2. How do I adopt a bunny?

Please email us if you see a baby bunny that you are interested in. Most of time, the people on our interest list will get preview of the baby bunnies first. Join our Interest List at the bottom of the page!

3. When do I get to pick up my bunny?

The bunnies are usually ready to go home between 8 weeks and 10 weeks. It depends on how well they are doing by themselves.

4. Do you offer bonding services?

Unfortunately, we do not offer bonding services. If you adopt 2 bunnies from us, it is better that they are from the same litter. A better combination is a boy and a girl. Please understand that not all bunnies will be able to bond. A solo bunny does just as well as 2 bunnies.

5. Do you offer discount for more than one bunny?

We offer 10% discount when you adopt 2 bunnies at the same time for approved future parents.

6. I heard that Teddywidder bunnies are great  therapy bunnies. Do you have any?

We do provide therapy bunnies. Our therapy bunnies stay with us much longer than our pet bunnies. We will neuter/spay the bunny of your choice, take them to their first vet visit for check-up and vaccination of RHDV 2, introduced them to loud noises and people (kids and adults), and start litter box training. Therapy bunnies will also be exposed to being pick-up constantly and cuddle. Due to all the training we need to do with therapy bunnies, they usually go home around 4 to 6 months depending on the genders.

7. Do you guarantee that my bunny will be fully trained when he/she come home?

Every bunny is different. Some learn faster and some need more reinforcement, just like human. We do not provide any guarantee on how far along your bunny training progresses. However, we do offer continuous support to our bunnies parents.

8. What is the price for your therapy bunnies?

The adoption fees for therapy bunnies starts at $1,000. You will pay for the Vet's fees and neuter/spay fees directly to them. In the case where the bunnies passed away for whatever reason during our care, we will provide a new bunny at no charge. However, if the bunnies passed away after being fixed or neutered, you are responsible for the additional Veterinarian and spay/neuter charges.

12. Do you sell bunnies to other breeders?

We do allow other breeders to purchase from us. However, please communicate this with us in advance. We provide pedigrees for all of our bunnies. We can not guarantee if the bunnies that you choose are excellent breeders. We will provide as many information that we can.

13. Do you sell senior bunnies? Are they cheaper than the younger ones?

Once in a while we will have a senior bunny for adoption. Please email to inquire. The age of senior bunnies ranges from 7 to 14 months old. The fees for our senior bunnies are higher since they have been trained longer in our care.

14. How often do you breed your bunnies?

We believe in the happiness of our bunnies and try as well as we can to give them as much freedom to choose when they want to breed. Our breeding method is a little different than other breeders. We do not do table breeding or put the doe in the buck's cage. Instead, we let a doe and a buck go on a date on a large size lawn where they have time to get to know each other and decide whether or not they want to mate. We give the doe a certain amount of time to decide (we put the timer on!) and monitor the situation closely. If we see the doe has enough and does not want to mate, we will stop the date and separate them. The doe has the upper hand. Therefore, we can't tell you how often we breed our bunnies. It could take multiple dates for certain couples to mate or they just don't like each other enough to mate. However, we do give our does months between babies.
